    The ownership group at Green State Coffee came to me with the need for almost everything. Although real estate and capital were secured, they had made little headway in every other area. Knowing that market conditions provided an opportune entry-point for a new drive-thru coffee brand - they wanted to take advantage of the moment and enter the category differently.

    Since their BrandBook® was published and it’s ideas disseminated into all customer and culture-facing expressions of the brand; Green State launched in the Yakima, WA market to great success. After only 5 months of operation, a competitor came to the ownership group and bought out the entirety of the Green State brand - for almost 50% more than the totality of their startup and operational costs.
